Helicopter Rides at the Festival
Something new for the Festival this year! Kouri's Helicopters Inc. will be offering helicopter tours of Verona and area right from the Festival grounds!
Your webmaster had the opportunity to take a test tour on Tuesday before the Festival, and I have to say, that seeing this area from the air really gives one a new appreciation of the beauty that surrounds where we live. It's so easy to take it for granted! Hope you enjoy my photo tour below. Don't forget your camera!
Rides will begin about 12:00 noon Saturday and continue until sundown. Sunday will begin at 12:30pm -- weather permitting of course. The helicopter takes 3 passengers on a 5 minute air time ride at a cost of $40 per passenger. Five minutes doesn't sound like much, but when you're up there, it's longer than you might think!
